At the same time, it is not expected that Turkish factories will continue to make concessions. This is despite continued pressure given the sources of HRC in southern Europe at € 500 /t ($ 565 /t) from a southern European port, according to sources. To compete with these, say, Italian prices in Spain, Turkish factories need to keep supply at attractive levels below $ 525 /FOB tonne.
