JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" may receive less funds from the sale of scrap metal

JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" on 27.04.2019 and 05.05.2019 of the current year announced new auctions for the sale of scrap metal through the ProZorro system.

Taking into account the level of purchase prices of metallurgical enterprises as of 05/08/2019, as of this date, the average estimated starting prices of auctions for lots UA-PS-2019-05-01-000003-1, PS-2019-05-01-000002 -3, PS-2019-04-027-000032-1, PS-2019-04-027-000033-1, UA-PS-2019-05-01-000001-1 are acceptable.

Average estimated starting prices of auctions for lots UA-PS-2019-05-01-000001-3 and UA-PS-2019-05-01-000002-1 according to State Enterprise Derzhzovnishinform are low (from UAH 200 /T- net up to UAH 1200 /t-net, by lots, excluding contamination), which in the event of an auction with a price increase of only 1% (the minimum step of the auction) may lead to a loss of funds by Ukrzaliznytsia JSC from the sale of scrap metal in accordance with two lots in the amount of approximately UAH 9 million. (The amount is calculated as of 05/08/2019, excluding the contamination of scrap metal in the indicated lots).
