Production results of the metallurgical sector of Ukraine in July and for 7 months of 2019

General performance indicators of MMC in July and for 7 months of 2019

In July 2019, it was produced:

pig iron - 1,650,000 tons (108% relative to June 2019)
steel - 1,780,000 tons (108%);
rolled products - 1,510,000 tons (101%).
For 7 months 2019 produced:

iron ore concentrate - 36,920,000 tons (105% compared to the same period in 2018)
agglomerate - 18,420,000 tons (101%);
pellets - 12,770,000 tons (102%);
gross coke (6% vol.) - 5,990,000 tons (95%);
pig iron - 11,890,000 tons (99.8%);
steel - 12,720,000 tons (104%);
rolled products - 11.0 million tons (102%);
pipe products - 0,670,000 tons (103%).
As of August 13, 2019, of the main existing production facilities, 17 out of 21 blast furnaces, 8 out of 9 open-hearth furnaces, 14 out of 16 converters, 5 out of 15 electric furnaces and 15 out of 15 continuous casting machines are in operation.

In September 2019, the production of the main types of products is projected in the following volumes: pig iron - about 1,750,000 tons, steel - 1.85 million tons, rolled products - 1,650,000 tons.
