Major Ukrainian pipe manufacturers, including INTERPIPE Niko Tube LLC, Interpipe NTZ, DMZ KOMINMET, have sold their steel pipes to the US market. In 2018, exports of Ukrainian steel pipes reached a four-year high.
However, this year, due to the difficult international political and economic situation, Ukrainian steel exports have been seriously affected, and the volume of exports has significantly decreased.
The data showed that pipe exports from Ukraine fell 36.8% in August from the previous month. The specific reason for the analysis continued to be the 7.47% tax levied by the United States in connection with anti-dumping investigations against some steel pipe importing countries, including Ukraine.
