NLMK plans to supply 5 million tonnes of slabs to OMK

NLMK Group shipped 5 million tonnes of slabs to the Vyksa Steel Works, part of the OMK Group. NLMK Group and OMK have created a unique technological chain in Russia.

NLMK produces slabs at the Lipetsk site from iron ore mined by Stoilensky. VMZ then processes these slabs into heavy slabs at mill 5000 and into large diameter pipes at its pipe welding plant No. 4. NLMK's high quality steel combined with Vyksa's advanced production processes for large diameter slabs and pipes ensure the production of pipes meets world standards. as evidenced by OMK's participation in international pipeline projects, including Power of Siberia, Bovanenkovo-Ukhta, Ukhta-Torzhok, Central Asia-China and Zapolyarye-Purpe.
