The goal of the government, according to Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, will be the growth of the Ukrainian economy by at least 40% over the next 5 years. So in 2020, the country's GDP should increase by 5%, and in 2021-2024 it should grow by 7% annually.
If the GDP growth rate doubles annually, then Ukraine has every chance in two decades to "catch up" with neighboring Poland in its current state.
“The government's program of activities indicates that we want to grow by 40% in the next five years. This requires attracting $ 50 billion. This is not a cosmic figure, it is large, but quite real, ”said Prime Minister Oleksiy Goncharuk.
Among other things, the Cabinet of Ministers aims to create one million jobs over the next five years.
