Dneprospetsstal celebrates the 50th anniversary of vacuum arc remelting technology

The vacuum department of SPC-5 of Dneprospetsstal produces unique alloys that are used in many industries, including rocket and space technology.

Vacuum-arc, electroslag remelting, double remelting - these unique technologies were first introduced at Dneprospetsstal. And in November this year we are celebrating the golden anniversary of the All-Union Democratic Party, ”the press service of the enterprise said.

Dneprospetsstal is a key producer of high-quality stainless steel in the CIS markets, and in Ukraine it is the undisputed leader in this segment.

Being the largest international company, Dneprospetsstal develops, manufactures and sells metal products from stainless, tool, high-speed (including those made by powder metallurgy), bearing, structural alloy and carbon steels.

The technologies used at the plant make it possible to obtain high-quality steels and alloys used in the most critical industries - mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace and oil and gas industries.
