The Thai government has extended the anti-dumping duty on cold rolled carbon steel from China, Vietnam and Taiwan for the next five years.
Thailand has introduced anti-dumping tariffs ranging from 4.22% to 20.11% of 2014 prices. The duty expired in February 2019, but has been extended until February 2020. The latest approval will take effect upon expiration in February.
In 2018, Thailand's total imports of carbon cold rolled steel were 1.053 million tonnes, up 892,529 tonnes from 2017.
