Vietnamese Hoa Phat will be exempt from US tariffs

In December 2019, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its final anti-dumping investigation decision on cold rolled and corrosion-resistant steel produced in Vietnam from raw materials from South Korea and Taiwan to impose a maximum tariff of 456%

However, following the process of being actively involved in the investigation on this matter, Hoa Phat (Hoa Fat) has firmly adhered to its opinion that the rules regarding the origin of products and the guarantee of the use of domestic raw materials are fully respected, in which products from Hoa Fat will be exempt from anti-dumping duties be exported to the United States under the traceability process.
