The Steel Authority of India Limited recorded a 35% year-on-year increase in sales in January 2020 to 1.659 million tonnes. In the period from April 19 to January 20, the Company achieved a 10.8% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. By the way, in connection with the growth in sales in January 20, SAIL continued to grow continuously, as in December and November 2019, sales increased by 47% and 36%, respectively.
During January 20, SAIL exported 1.82 million tons of steel, which is also the best ever export for the company in any month.
