The European Commission has received protection from dumping imports from non-EU countries, arguing that imports of cold rolled stainless steel flat products from India and Indonesia are dumping and thus damaging the Union's industry.
The complaint was lodged on 17 August 2020 by the European Steel Association EUROFER on behalf of producers that account for more than 25% of the Union's total production of stainless steel cold rolled flat products.
The product that is the subject of this study is stainless steel flat products that have not been processed further than cold rolled products. The item suspected of being dropped is an investigational item originating from India and Indonesia
