The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) is going to once again look at anti-dumping duties on hot-rolled carbon trim, imported from Ukraine, China and Russia. This was reported on the website of the organization.
USITC will review protective measures in connection with the completion of the fourth five-year period of the anti-dumping duties. The process started on November 2 and will end on February 5.
During the procedure, the department will consider the possibility of canceling anti-dumping protective measures for China, as well as the issue of ending the suspension of the investigation against Ukraine and Russia. The agency will establish whether such a decision could negatively affect the income of American metal producers.
Initially, the US Department of Commerce suspended an investigation into anti-dumping duties on imports of non-coiled hot rolled flat products from China, Ukraine and Russia in exchange for price commitments.
The dumping margin for Azovstal metal products is 81.43%, and for MMK im. Ilyich (both enterprises are part of Metinvest) - 155%. For other businesses, a dumping margin of 237.91% applies.
The United States will revise duties on imports of hot-rolled rolled steel from Ukraine, China and Russia
