EU ends AD investigation on Indonesian stainless steel

The European Commission has ended its anti-dumping investigation on stainless steel imports from Indonesia, which is good news for Indonesian stainless steel producers.

According to official EU statistics, the total export value of hot rolled stainless steel products from Indonesia to the EU in 2018 was about US $ 99 million and in 2019 it was about US $ 105 million.

However, the main reason the EU dropped its investigation into this case was because the European Steel Association (EUROFER) decided to quash the claim.
