Spanish company Sidenor rebuilds steel plant

Sidenor, a Spanish steelmaker and supplier of specialty steels, is expanding the capacity of one of its steelworks to cover 85-90% utilization.

The Basauri plant will be reconstructed and its annual production capacity will increase to 500,000 tons.

The company said that this technological innovation makes Sidenor's Basauri plant at the forefront of the European specialty steel sector. The new plant allowed Sidenor to meet the market's highest quality requirements with the best equipment.
