With the international steel market now in short supply, Yieh Phui, one of Taiwan's largest steel mills, has decided to cancel the Chinese New Year holiday due to high demand for orders.
With strong market demand, sales in the first quarter of this year could be strong, even steel mills continued to raise prices in February and March.
Ye Fui said that due to the recovery in the international steel market and the continuing rise in steel prices, the company's internal and external orders were in very good shape, especially with regard to export orders, which were growing significantly.
Therefore, Yieh Phui decided that they would not close during the Chinese New Year (CNY) this year and would use their full capacity to increase production, including the cold rolling, galvanizing and painting production lines that would be fully operational.
