ArcelorMittal announced the launch of its first three XCarb ™ initiatives as part of its goal of achieving zero
emissions by 2050. These three initiatives include certifications for sustainable steel XCarb ™, recycled and renewable XCarb ™ and XCarb ™. innovation fund.
The new brand will benefit ArcelorMittal's low and zero carbon steel business and therefore contribute to the development of carbon neutral steel production.
ArcelorMittal customers can obtain XCarb ™ Sustainable Steel certifications to help reduce Scope 3 emissions.
