MMK strengthens its position in the Uzbek market

In 2020, MMK supplied 415.6 thousand tons of metal products to the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is slightly less than the same indicator in 2019. The share of this largest Central Asian country amounted to 82% in the total volume of shipments to the countries of Central Asia, and 35% in the volume of deliveries to the near abroad.

Among the successes of MMK's sales activities in this area, one can single out an increase in the supply of rolled metal for enterprises of the automotive industry of Uzbekistan in 2020 compared to 2019 by 43% - from 26 to 37 thousand tons.

In 2020, PJSC MMK also supplied 15.5 thousand tons of hot-rolled coils for Tashkent Metallurgical Plant LLC, which was launched last year and started commercial production of finished products. For this company, PJSC MMK is the main supplier of hot-rolled coils.

In addition, in 2020, the plant increased the shipment of metal products to the Artel Group of Companies to 24 thousand tons (+ 42% compared to 2019). This company from Uzbekistan is the largest manufacturer of household appliances in Central Asia.
