In the first quarter of 2021, metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine issued about:
agglomerate - 8,220,000 tons (104.6% versus January-March 2020)
gross coke (6% vol.) - 2,420,000 tons (98.7%);
pig iron - 5,310,000 tons (104.3%);
steel - 5,290,000 tons (99.5%);
As of April 13, 2021, of the main operating production facilities, 17 out of 21 blast furnaces, 7 out of 8 open-hearth furnaces, 14 out of 16 converters, 5 out of 15 electric furnaces and 15 out of 17 continuous casting machines are in operation.
