In line with China's environmental policy, China's steel industry has made great strides in environmental development, energy conservation and environmental protection.
According to statistics from the China Metallurgical Association (CISA), in 2020, chemical oxygen demand fell 10.11% year on year, while sulfur dioxide emissions fell 14.38% year on year.
While China has achieved some fruitful results, internal environmental and environmental concerns cannot be ignored. In fact, the progress in energy saving and emission reduction in factories has been very different. Some relatively small steel mills have up to six times the carbon dioxide emissions of large steel mills in China. Therefore, the Chinese government will decide to strengthen its emission controls.
In China, the low core value of pollutant control, weak support for waste management and industrial technology development and policies, and the low efficiency of innovative environmental protection technologies continued to be problems that the Chinese government had to tackle one after another.
