Mexico launches fifth investigation of Russian sheet steel

The Mexican Secretariat for the Economy (SE) has announced that it has launched a fifth anti-dumping (AD) investigation against flat steel from Russia, following a request from Mexican producers Ternium Mexico SAde CV and Altos Ornos de Mexico, SAB de CV (AHMSA).

The investigation covered the period from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, and the injury investigation period from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2021.

The related products are for tariff codes 7208.10.03, 7208.25.02, 7208.37. 01 and 7225.30.07 TIGIE.

The announcement takes effect the next day after its publication.
