The Indian Ministry of Finance announced the extension of anti-dumping duties on certain types of hot-rolled steel produced by the metallurgical enterprises of Brazil, Indonesia, China, Korea, Russia and Japan until December 15, 2021 inclusive.
Recall that a re-investigation in connection with the expiration of the anti-dumping measure introduced in August 2016 was launched by India at the end of March. The duties apply to 47 items of hot-rolled flat products made of unalloyed and alloyed steel in coils up to 2100 mm wide and up to 25 mm thick, including coated coils. Steel products are classified according to codes 7208, 7211, 7225 and 7226 of the Indian commodity nomenclature.
The country's authorities also extended until December 15 the anti-dumping duties on a number of cold-rolled flat products from China, Ukraine, South Korea, and Japan.
