China's hot rolled coil (HRC) production in June was about 16.19 million tonnes, down 1.4% from the previous month and up 12.8% from the same month last year, according to statistics. ...
The decrease compared to the previous month is due to a slowdown in seasonal demand and production restrictions at the end of June. In addition, average HRC prices in the domestic market fell as HRC futures prices tended to decline and demand from secondary buyers declined during the period.
In the first half of this year, China's HRC production reached approximately 94.74 million tonnes, an increase of 16.8% over the same period last year.
