A modern labor office and a mechatronics laboratory have been opened on the left bank in cooperation with Interpipe and the Dnipro City Council
A modern labor training office has appeared at school # 69 in the Industrial District of Dnipro. In the renovated classroom, children will receive skills in working with wood and metal on new machines.
And in the 129th school in the Samara region, a mechatronics laboratory was opened. In it, in physics and computer science lessons, schoolchildren will get acquainted with the basics of managing modern industrial equipment.
The initiative to modernize technical education on the left bank belongs to People's Deputy Dmitry Kisilevsky. Its implementation became possible thanks to the financing and support of Interpipe and the Dnipro City Council.
Now school # 69 can boast of the first modern office in the city. The floor, walls and ceiling were overhauled, the heating system, windows and doors were replaced. Equipped with turning, grinding, milling-drilling and sharpening machines, as well as a large number of small tools.
"The school gives children the first fundamental knowledge. Our task as a department of humanitarian policy is to provide children with the opportunity to receive this knowledge in a comfortable environment and on modern equipment. And such lessons will adapt children to real life, where the principle of “do it yourself” is still important. " The 129th school in Pridneprovsk has already opened the second school laboratory of mechatronics in Dnipro. It is a technical discipline at the intersection of electrical engineering, electronics and IT. In production, specialists in this profession are engaged in the management, maintenance and repair of automated and robotic equipment. Now children will be able to master the basics of this modern profession and consciously enroll in the corresponding specialty at the university.
“To motivate children to go to technical specialties in the future, we are creating specialized classes. For example, in the class of labors, children learn in practice how to work with machines and tools. In the mechatronics class, they learn to work with mini-copies of industrial equipment. For some of them, a passion for the subject will necessarily grow into a conscious choice of profession. We hope that among the students of these classes there will be future engineers, technicians and workers who will come to work for our enterprise, ”said Sergei Kostenko, Chairman of the Board of Interpipe NTZ.
The initiative for the development of modern formats of technical education in schools of the left the bank of the Dnieper comes from the People's Deputy for the Industrial and Samara Districts Dmitry Kisilevsky.
“I consider it important to make modern technical education accessible to residents of the left bank of the Dnieper. An experienced electrician or CNC machine operator now makes more money than the average lawyer or economist. Similarly, with mechatronics: enterprises already have modern equipment, but there are not enough specialists ready to work with it. Schools, vocational technical staff, and universities are in need of modernization, "Kisilevsky comments.
Since the beginning of the year, Interpipe together with the Dnipro City Council have already opened three technical education rooms in schools on the left bank: 2 mechatronics classes in 3 Gymnasium in the Industrial District and School No. 129 in Samara, and a labor training class at School No. 69 in the Industrial District.
