Influenced by the latest Chinese government measures to limit capacity, the POSCO stainless steel plant located in Jiangsu, China, is forced to suspend production. The mill was supposed to resume production in early October.
In fact, under national control of energy consumption and energy intensity, several companies in Jiangsu and Zhejiang have announced a temporary suspension of production.
The senior officer explained that such measures affect foreign enterprises, so South Korea would like to respond positively and it can also do its best to improve the situation.
