Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe announces the appointment of Vladislav Varnavsky as Director for Environment. He started working in his new position on October 6, 2021.
Vladislav Varnavsky has been working in the field of environmental protection of large industrial companies for more than 15 years.
Since 2012, Vladislav has been the head of the environmental protection department environment of Metinvest Holding, where he was responsible for the work of environmental services of enterprises, internal environmental audit and monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions, compliance with legal requirements and interaction with state environmental protection authorities at the national and regional levels. His competence also included the assessment of investment projects from the point of view of ecology and the introduction of modern environmental technologies at enterprises.
In addition, Mr. Varnavsky worked in the cement and oil and gas industry - in the state enterprise "Naukaneftegaz", "HeidelbergCement Ukraine ”,“ Ukrnafta ”. As an environmental expert, he participated in joint projects of UNIDO, OSCE and other international organizations.
An environmentalist by education, Vladislav also completed a corporate MBA program in 2012.
