According to the statistics of the Association of Ukrainian Metallurgists, in the first nine months of this year, Ukraine produced a total of about 16.3 million tons of steel, which is 6.3% more than in the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the volume of pig iron production in Ukraine amounted to approximately 16.2 million tons, an increase of 6.5% compared to the same period last year; Steel production increased by 5.6% year-on-year to about 14.5 million tonnes.
