During September 2021, Kazakhstan smelted 411 109 tons of crude steel (a month earlier - 372 869 tons). Production growth on an annualized basis - 16.3%. For 9 months, the indicators increased by 17.7% to 3,380,160 tons, according to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
September production of flat products amounted to 173,544 tons (in August - 280,532 tons), which is 19.1% less than in September 2020. In January-September, metallurgical enterprises of Kazakhstan produced 2,156,174 tons of flat products, an increase in volumes compared to the same period last year - 14.5%.
The production of ferroalloys decreased in September by 8.3% to 178,812 tons, over 9 months - increased by 0.9% to 1,506,414 tons.
