The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine announced that it has decided to cancel the tariffs set on April 23, 2021, to end the investigation of protective measures against cable imports and will not impose protective measures on the goods in question. Due to the fact that the application of protective measures against imported cables is not in the national interest.
This investigation into safeguards was launched on 28 July 2020.
We are talking about insulated wires, cables and other insulated electrical conductors without connecting parts, as well as fiber optic cables consisting of individually sheathed fibers, which are classified under the codes HS 8544 49 20 00, 8544 49 91 00, 8544 60 10 10., 8544 60 10 98, 8544 60 90 10, 8544 60 90 90, 8544 70 00 10 and 8544 70 00 90.
