Electrometallurgical plant "Dneprospetsstal" in Zaporozhye in January-September this year increased the output of finished rolled products, according to operational data, by 7.1% compared to the same period last year - up to 121 thousand tons.
Steel production during this period increased by 3% - up to 170 thousand tons. In September, 17 thousand tons of steel were smelted, 12 thousand tons of rolled products were produced.
In September of this year, the enterprise passed an audit of the quality management system according to ISO 9001: 2015. As reported, Dneprospetsstal in 2020 increased the output of finished rolled products by 1.3% compared to 2019 - up to 154 thousand tons, steel by 2.7% - up to 225 thousand tons. "Dneprospetsstal" is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of long products and forgings from special grades of steel: stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing, structural, as well as from heat-resistant nickel-based alloys.
