The police said they will check the certificates of vaccination against coronavirus by QR code. This applies to both trains and crowded places.

According to the first deputy head of the Department of the Patrol Police of Ukraine Oleksiy Biloshitskiy, a special program was loaded onto the policemen's tablets, according to which they quickly check certificates from "Actions" and scan the paper version of it.

"Employees of the State Food Service, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention at the local level, as well as officers of the patrol police of Ukraine, will be checking the reliability of vaccination certificates for citizens from October 21," the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Communications Department quotes Biloshitskiy.

Biloshitskiy recalled that for the production and sale of fake medical documentation, offenders face punishment - from a fine of 17,000 hryvnia to 5 years in prison.

Those who will use fake certificates or certificates are punished - from a fine of up to 850 hryvnia to 2 years in prison.

"People who order and buy fake vaccination certificates, if a fake document is found and attempts to use it, will be held accountable for violating quarantine conditions," Biloshitsky added.

Since October 18, four more regions have moved into the "red" zone - Zaporozhye, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk. Kherson region has increased restrictions on October 15.
