pig iron - 1.77 million tons (98.2%);
steel - 1.85 million tons (100.7%);
rolled products - 1.67 million tons (100.6%);
pipe products - 0.091 million tons (168.2%).
As of February 11, 2022, of the main operating production facilities, 17 out of 21 blast furnaces, 7 out of 8 open hearth furnaces, 13 out of 16 converters, 5 out of 15 electric furnaces and 16 out of 17 continuous casting machines are in operation.
Iron ore raw materials:
The supply of iron ore raw materials to metallurgical enterprises in January 2022 was carried out in accordance with the need of metallurgical production. There was no import of air defense systems.
The export of ZRS in January 2022 is 3.85 million tons (104.3% compared to January 2021).
Coking coal:
In January 2022, 1.14 million tons of coal for coking were supplied to Ukrainian coking enterprises (100.5% compared to January 2021), of which:
Ukrainian origin - 0.28 million tons (88.4% compared to January 2021);
imported - 0.86 million tons (105.2% compared to January 2021).
The share of imported coal in total supplies in January 2021 amounted to 75.5% against 72.2% in January 2021.
Commodities
Coke:
The total volume of coke received by metallurgists in January 2022 is 0.772 Mt (106.0% of January 2021), of which:
Ukrainian origin 0.668 million tons (95.5% compared to January 2021);
imported - 0.104 million tons (416.0% compared to January 2021).
The share of imported coke in the total supply in January 2022 is 13.47% against 3.43% in January 2021.
Imported scrap metal:
In January 2021, 237 thousand tons of scrap metal were harvested (78.2% compared to January 2021), of which 231 thousand tons (81.3% compared to January 2021) were delivered to Ukrainian consumers as imported . The export of scrap metal in January 2022 is 6 thousand tons (31.6% compared to January 2021).
