According to statistics, in December last year, Taiwan became the largest supplier of hot-rolled coil (HRC) in the EU. During the reporting period, Taiwan exported about 56,000 tons of hot-rolled coil to the EU, accounting for nearly 20% of the total EU hot-rolled steel exports in December.
Taiwan also performed well last November, while it exported about 76,800 tons of hot rolled coil to the EU and thus also became its largest monthly supplier.
According to the data, Ukraine and Vietnam are the second and third largest suppliers of hot-rolled coils to the EU in December 2021, having exported about 40,900 tons and 30,8900 tons of these products to the EU, respectively.
