The accident at the Nippon Steel plant in Kyushu occurred on the 9th, mainly due to the leakage of pig iron from Blast Furnace No. 1, there were problems transporting pig iron to vehicles. Despite the fact that firefighters arrived to help and emergency measures were taken at the plant, it is known that the furnace was stopped.
