According to statistics from the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), crude steel production in Germany in April this year was about 3.3 million tons, down 11.8% compared to the same month last year.
During this period, the production of hot-rolled steel in Germany decreased by 13.1% year on year and amounted to approximately 2.9 million tons.
In the first four months of this year, crude steel production in Germany amounted to about 9.8 million tons, down 3.7% compared to the same period last year; the output of hot-rolled steel was about 8.7 million tons, down 5.4% year on year.
