Nucor keeps sheet prices unchanged for June

Electric arc furnace (EAF) steel maker Nucor kept prices flat for flat products.

The company updated its pricing for June orders this afternoon, keeping ex-works prices at $1,910/t.

The move to keep prices steady comes less than a month after Nucor increased ex-factory prices for baseplates by $55 apiece.

Ex-works Argus plates were flat last week at $1,928.75/t, up 7.6% from the yearly low of $1,793/t on March 1.
