The UK has announced that it will decide to give Ukrainian goods preferential treatment with zero tariffs and remove restrictions on Ukrainian import quotas to help Ukraine rebuild its economy.
In addition, the UK also announced on April 25 that it will ban the export to Russia of equipment and technology that can be used to intercept and monitor communications in the future to prevent such products from being misused to invade Ukraine.
The UK also announced last week that it would tighten sanctions on Russia by expanding the list of banned items and raising tariffs.
The UK has now also banned the export of quantum technologies, advanced materials and luxury goods to Russia and has stopped funding exports to Russia and Belarus.
