Acciaieria Arvedi, an Italian flat steel manufacturer, has become the first steel mill to be certified net carbon zero.
The Net Zero CO2 Emission Certificate has been approved by a third party, Rina. He evaluated all direct and indirect manufacturing processes.
Arvedi started investing in plant development, technology and research to fulfill the decarbonization plan in 2018. In fact, Arvedi reached its zero emissions target 28 years ahead of the 2050 target set by the EU.
