According to statistics from the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), steel production in Germany in October this year amounted to about 3.1 million tons, a decrease of 14.4% compared to the same month last year.
During this period, the production of hot-rolled steel in Germany decreased by 13% year-on-year and amounted to approximately 2.7 million tons.
In the first ten months of this year, crude steel production in Germany amounted to about 31.4 million tons, which is almost 7% less than the same period last year; hot-rolled steel output was about 27.7 million tons, down 6.5% year on year.
